The JHP Community Center Performance Team was started in the Fall of 2006. It's origins started back in 2001 when performances were produced for JHPCC Annual events as well as demonstrations for other agencies, schools and fairs. In 2006 the performance team was formalized as an extension of the youth LAMP program and now includes children as well as youth. 

The first major piece produced was the "Fan Dance". First performed at the JHPCC 2006 annual event and then went on to audition for After School Matter's Spring Gala. Our group was selected along with twelve other agencies to perform at the Chicago Theater on May 11, 2007.

The program continues to expand the production, eventually adding many other different art forms besides dance, encompassing into a full theatrical production.
