Congratulations to all the teens of JHP Community Center’s Leadership Apprenticeship Mentoring Program that participated in ASM’s Spring Showcase. It was a job well done with nine other programs selected to perform at the historic Chicago Theatre on March 23, 2011. It is an experience the teens will never forget performing in a professional venue in front of over two thousand people in a live audience. We are honored to have a student from our program, Karla Quintero for being selected to give the introductory remarks on behalf of the 300 teens that performed in the Showcase. We are very proud of Karla and all of our teens for their great achievement and dedication to succeed. We extend our gratitude to After School Matters for giving us this opportunity to showcase the talents of not only the teens of the JHP Community Center, but as well as the other teens in the City of Chicago who otherwise would have missed this great opportunity of a lifetime.
